MyHarvst is an app marketplace that connects people looking to buy, sell, trade or give away local food directly from community gardeners and farmers. It is a simple way to access fresh, homegrown food while supporting local growers.
To create an account, download the MyHarvst app on the Apple store or visit our website and click "Download App." Enter your name, email, password and answer the questions prompted. You will receive an email confirming your account.
A complete profile builds trust with buyers and sellers. Add a profile picture, location and short bio to introduce yourself. Sellers should also include their farm/garden details if applicable.
Your dashboard is where you manage everything - listings, messages, orders and settings. From here, you can view active listings, track posts, purchases and update your profile.
Click on any listing to view details, then use the "Message" button to start a conversation with the seller. You can ask questions about availability, pickup times, or product details before making a purchase.
After discussing details with the seller, you can discuss finalization of product price and meet up place. MyHarvst currently does not provide a payment method and is not part of the sale of your transaction. Payment method can vary depending on what the seller accepts.
Seller can choose to accept cash, peer-to-peer payment apps (i.e. Venmo, PayPal, Zelle) or other digital payment methods. Always confirm payment details with seller before completing a transaction.
Tap the "Post" button in your dashboard, add clear photos of your produce, write a detailed description, set your price, and specify pickup details. Include information about growing methods, harvest date, and any special characteristics.
Research similar listings in your area for pricing guidance. Consider factors like organic certification, variety, quality, and quantity. Price competitively while ensuring fair compensation for your time and effort.
Use natural lighting and take clear, well focused photos from multiple angles. Show the actual product you're selling, not stock images. Include close ups to highlight quality and overall shots to show quantity.
Check your inbox regularly for buyer messages. Respond promptly to questions and coordinate pickup details. Mark items as sold once the transaction is complete to keep your listings current.
All users must follow the Terms & Conditions guidelines to ensure safety on the MyHarvst app. This includes honest listings, respectful communication and fair transactions. All users cannot sell, offer, solicit or post anything that violates the prohibited items listed in the Terms & Conditions.
Meet in public places when possible, bring a friend, and trust your instincts. Inspect items before payment. Use secure payment methods and keep all communication within the MyHarvst app for your protection.
Check seller profiles for complete information, including profile photos and bio. Look for sellers with established histories and positive community engagement. Start with smaller purchases to build trust before larger transactions.
Report any concerns, fraudulant or suspicious activities or behaviors to MyHarvst at Contact Us. Provide details about the issue and any relevant screenshots or messages. We take all reports seriously and investigate promptly.

MyHarvst is free to use. Creating an account, browsing listings, and messaging sellers are all free. There are no platform fees or commissions. Payment arrangements are made directly between buyers and sellers.
As a seller, you arrange payment directly with buyers. You can accept cash at pickup, or use peer-to-peer payment apps like Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle. Communicate your preferred payment method clearly in your listing or when messaging with buyers.
Refunds are handled directly between buyers and sellers. If you experience issues with a transaction, contact the other party first to resolve the matter. MyHarvst does not process payments or refunds, as all transactions occur directly between users.
Go to Settings, select "Account Security," then "Change Password." You'll need to enter your current password and then create a new one. Choose a strong password with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
Yes, customize your notifications in Settings under "Notifications." Choose which alerts you want to receive for messages, new listings, sales, and community updates. You can enable push notifications, email alerts, or both.
In Settings, scroll to "Account Management" and select "Delete Account." Complete any pending transactions before deletion. Once deleted, your data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
Try these steps: 1) Force close and restart the app, 2) Check for app updates in your app store, 3) Ensure you have a stable internet connection, 4) Clear app cache in settings, 5) Restart your device. If issues persist, contact support.
On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password?" Enter your email address and we'll send you a password reset link. Click the link in the email and follow the instructions to create a new password.
Check your internet connection first. If connected, try closing and reopening the app. Ensure you haven't been blocked by the other user. If the problem continues, update the app to the latest version or contact support.
